Yasuhiko Yamazaki is a representative member of the board and executive vice president of DENSO Corporation, headquartered in Kariya, Aichi, Japan.He is also CIO (Chief Innovation Officer), CQO (Chief Quality Officer), and CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer), and is responsible for the General Administration & Human Resources Center and Group Companies of the Australia-Asia area and Korea area.Yasuhiiko Yamazaki graduated from Shinshu University with an engineering degree. In 1986, he joined DENSO Corporation (formerly Nippondenso Co. Ltd.). He began his career in the Production Engineering Division, where he worked on developing production systems. In March 2009, he became general manager of the Driving Assist & Safety Production Division and worked on the management of the large-scale factories and the reorganization of the Driving Assist & Safety products within the TOYOTA Group. In March 2011, he was transferred to DENSO BARCELONA S.A.U. and contributed to achieving the profitability of the company by building the foundation of the growth in its business in Europe. In 2014, he was appointed executive director and worked on various duties such as the Monozukuri reformation of DENSO using F-IoT and others. After being appointed as senior executive officer, he was responsible for the Production Innovation Center and the Thermal Business Group. In January 2024, he was promoted to executive vice president, appointed as CIO, CQO, and CHRO. In June 2024, he was appointed as a representative member of the board and executive vice president of DENSO Corporation.
