Mr. Watkins joined our Board and became Chair of the Board on December 15, 2017. Mr. Watkins was most recently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Imergy Power Systems, a privately-held energy storage solutions company, from January 2015 and September 2013, respectively, until August 2016. Previously, he served as Chairman of the Board at Bridgelux, Inc., from February 2013 to December 2013 and as its Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to February 2013. Prior to that, he served as Chief Executive Officer and a board member at Seagate Technology, a publicly-traded provider of electronic data storage technologies and systems, from 2004 until 2009, and before that he was Seagate’s President and Chief Operating Officer. He joined Seagate in 1996 with the company’s acquisition of Conner Peripherals. Mr. Watkins currently sits on the board of FLEX LTD., an electronics design manufacturer, a position he has held since April 2009. Mr. Watkins previously served as a board member at Seagate Technology, from 2000 until 2009, Bright Machines, Inc., a privately-held software manufacturing company, from 2019 until 2020, and Maxim Integrated Products, Inc., a manufacturer of linear and mixed-signal integrated circuits, from 2008 until 2021. He was a Non-Executive Director at MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc. from 2002 until 2004.
