Todd Penegor was elected to Ball Corporation’s board of directors in October 2019. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Mr. Penegor joined The Wendy’s Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2013. He was named President and Chief Executive Officer in 2016, and is actively involved in all sustainability and ESG matters and reporting. Prior to joining Wendy’s, Mr. Penegor held a series of key leadership roles at Kellogg Company and Ford Motor Company. SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS, ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Mr. Penegor has extensive experience as an executive in the food products and consumer goods industries. He joined The Wendy’s Company in 2013 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and International in 2014 and then became President and Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Later that year, he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining The Wendy’s Company, Mr. Penegor worked at Kellogg Company, a global leader in food products, from 2000 to 2013 where he held several key leadership positions. Mr. Penegor also worked for 12 years at Ford Motor Company in various positions, including in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, the controller’s office and treasury. In addition to his role on the board at Ball, Mr. Penegor also serves as a board member of The Wendy’s Company and as President on Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business Advisory Board. He also serves on the board of trustees of the Dave Thomas Foundation for adoption. Mr. Penegor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration in finance from Michigan State University. Mr. Penegor’s extensive experience as a senior executive at leading U.S. based public companies, including as the current Chief Executive Officer of The Wendy’s Company, make him well qualified to serve as a director.
