Before his current role, Mr. Maclin held several leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor organizations for nearly 37 years. He served as CEO of the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Bank and later as co-CEO of Consumer and Business Banking. His career included assignments in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, and New York. Earlier, he worked in investment banking, heading up the JPMorgan Global Energy Group, and led the commercial real estate division for Chase. He also chaired the JPMorgan Chase Real Estate Council.
Mr. Maclin currently serves as an outside director for RRH Corporation, the parent company of Hunt Consolidated, Inc., in Dallas, Texas. He is also on the Advisory Board of BancAffiliated, Inc., and a member of the Everside Capital Partners Senior Advisory Committee.
In the community, Mr. Maclin is a director of the University of Texas Development Board, a member of the Advisory Council for McCombs Graduate School of Business, and on the Executive Committee of the Chancellor’s Council. He is also on the Board of Visitors of the University of Texas Southwestern Health System, the Steering Committee for the O’Donnell Brain Institute for UT Southwestern, and the Board of Southwestern Medical Foundation. Director since 2019.
