Tim Archer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lam Research Corporation, a global supplier of innovative wafer fabrication equipment and services to the semiconductor industry, a position he has held since December 2018. Mr. Archer previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer from January 2018 until December 2018 and Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer from 2012 until 2018. Prior to joining Lam Research Corporation, Mr. Archer spent 18 years at Novellus Systemmurs, Inc., a manufacturer of equipment used in the fabrication of integrated circuits, in various technology development and business leadership roles, including most recently as Chief Operating Officer from 2011 to 2012; Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Customer Satisfaction from 2009 to 2011; and Executive Vice President of the PECVD and Electrofill business units from 2008 to 2009. Mr. Archer began his career in 1989 at Tektronix, where he was responsible for process development for high-speed bipolar integrated circuits.
Mr. Archer currently serves on the International Board of Directors for SEMI, the global industry association representing the electronics manufacturing and design supply chain.
