From 1996 to 1999, he served as a Senior Vice President, General Manager of International Boiler Operations and subsequently Senior Vice President and General Manager of Standard Boilers Worldwide at Asea Brown Boveri, including supply chain, power products manufacturing, and strategic operations. He serves as a Director of L&T Valves Limited. He serves as a Director at Valve Manufacturers Association. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1977 and his Masters in Business Administration from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1982. He also attended the Global Business Consortium program in 1998 associated with the London Business School.
