Most recently the President of Apollo Investment Corporation, Chief Investment Officer of Apollo Investment Management, and Senior Portfolio Manager, U.S. Opportunistic Credit.

Joined Apollo in April 2012 and oversaw the Opportunistic Credit platform and was a member of the Senior Management Committee.

Previously employed by Goldman Sachs & Co. since 1999. He most recently ran the Bank Loan and Distressed Investing Desk and prior to that was a Managing Director in the Special Situations Group.

Received a B.A. in Commerce from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He is a frequent guest lecturer at leading Universities including Columbia, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), University of Virginia, New York University, Queen’s University, and Stanford University.

Currently serves on the Global Advisory Board for the Queen’s School of Business.

Chairman of the Young Fellowship of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and serves on the board of Directors for HerJustice and Capitalize for Kids.Ted joined BC Partners in 2017 as a co-founder of and to lead BC Partners Credit. He is a Partner and Head of BC Partners Credit based in New York.
