About

With over 37 years experience in the South African resources industry, with his last role prior to retirement as the Chief Executive Officer of Exxaro Resources from 2006 – 2016. He has extensive experience in the operational, financial, logistics and marketing areas of the resources sector, and more specifically in the energy and coal sectors, both locally and internationally.

He currently serves as the Chair of Talent10 Holdings and the Small Business Institute. He also serves on the Boards of KZN Philharmonic Orchestra, Tronox, Partners for Possibility, and is a trustee for Luphondo Trust. Mr Nkosi is the former CEO of Exxaro Resources Limited and is the past president of the Chamber of Mines of South Africa.

Mr Nkosi holds a BCom degree from the University of Zululand, BCom Hons (Econ) from UNISA and MBA from Massachusetts University. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing Management from UNISA and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Oxford University.
