After completing his studies from US , he returned back to India and started his own business . Later , he married to Roshni Nadar the only child of CEO of HCL Cooperation Shiv Nadar , he become the part of HCL . He is also the Vice Chairman of Shiv Nadar Foundation and as a trustee he played mutiple roles in the establishment of foundation .In 2012 , under Shiv Nadar foundation he established the base of Shiv Nadar School . The primary motive of there schools is to make education level more efficient and convenient at rural and underprivileged areas . There schools are located at Noida , Gurgaon and Faridabad .In 2018 , Shikhar Malhotra become the Chancellor of Shiv Nadar University Youngest University chosen by Institute of Eminence in India . Same year , he and his wife founded Habitat Foundation . The motive of this foundation is to make India clean and green and also protect rare species . Currently , he is the Director and Board Member of HCL Cooperation and his wife is the current CEO of HCL Hindustan Computers Limited .
