Mr. Valenti is Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Valenti Capital LLC, an investment firm he founded in 2000. Mr. Valenti re-joined AAM’s Board of Directors in October 2020, having served on our Board from 2013 to May 2020. Since 2002, he has served as Chair of the Board of TriMas Corporation. Until 2008, Mr. Valenti had a 40-year career with Masco Corporation, a home improvement and building products manufacturer. From 1998 through 2008, he was President and a member of the Board of Directors of Masco Capital Corporation and was Vice President – Investments of Masco Corporation from 1974 to 1998. Currently, he serves on the advisory council at the University of Notre Dame and the advisory board at the University of Michigan Business School Zell-Lurie Institute. Mr. Valenti is a member of Business Leaders for Michigan and serves as Chair of the Renaissance Venture Capital Fund.
