Mr. Suri is the former Chief Executive Officer of Inmarsat, a world leader in global, mobile satellite communications. He is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Nokia, from 2014 through July 2020. From 2009 to 2014, he was Chief Executive Officer of Nokia Solutions and Networks (previously Nokia Siemens Networks). Mr. Suri also serves as a director of Viasat, Inc. a global communications company, and Singtel, a Singaporean telecommunications company.
Mr. Suri has deep business experience working across a range of functions, including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, marketing and sales. He led a transformation of Nokia through significant portfolio adjustments, including the acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent, and has strong global experience. Mr. Suri’s business background and extensive knowledge across a range of technology solutions provide critical input to our Board.
