Works as an advisor, investor, and teacher. Since 2015, he has operated PEC Ventures, which works with emerging company leaders and invests in the technology, health care, and professional services sectors. Prior to forming PEC Ventures, Paul was co-head of Morgan Stanley’s global technology banking group, where he and his client teams advised and executed capital-raising and strategic transactions for Adobe, Alibaba, Amazon, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Veeva, and Workday, among others. At ServiceNow, Paul serves on our Leadership Development & Compensation Committee and Finance & Audit Committee, in addition to overseeing our M&A working group. Paul also has a passion for mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs, and he teaches courses in entrepreneurial finance and management at Princeton University. (He previously taught classes at Stanford University and Santa Clara University.) Paul holds a B.A. degree in History, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and received an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School. He currently also serves on the board of TriNet, a payroll, HR and insurance services provider to small-and-medium sized businesses, and previously served on the board of Veeva, a life sciences cloud software provider.
