Mr. Pascal Vinet has been serving as the Deputy CEO of the Air Liquide Group since 2023. Since 2021, he has overseen the Europe Industries and Africa/Middle East/India divisions, as well as the Group’s Safety and Industrial Systems function. Additionally, since 2023, he has taken charge of the global Industrial Merchant business line.
Pascal Vinet joined Air Liquide in 1986 after having worked for NASA in the United States. In 1995, he was appointed CEO of Air Liquide Australia, before becoming Chief Operating Officer of the Group’s Industrial Merchant Business Line in France in 1998. He became Vice President for the Research & Development Group in 1999 and later led the Industrial Merchant operations in the United States starting in 2002.
In 2005, he was appointed Vice President overseeing Group functions such as Control, Strategic Planning, Purchasing, and IT. In 2010, he assumed global responsibilities for the Group’s Healthcare operations, joining the Executive Committee in 2011. In 2016, he became the CEO of Airgas, the subsidiary responsible for Industrial Merchant and Healthcare activities in the United States, following its acquisition by the Group.
Mr. Pascal Vinet holds an engineering degree and a doctorate in physics from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
