Nicole Gourmelon has been Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée since January 2019. Since September 2020 she has also served as chairwoman of the Pays de la Loire French Banking Federation (Fédération Bancaire Française). She was the former chairwoman of CA Assurances (2019-2020) and Pacifica (2017-2020) and is currently a director of Crédit Agricole S.A., LCL and Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance. A graduate of HEC Management and ITB, Nicole Gourmelon has spent her entire career with the Crédit Agricole Group, where she joined the Finistère Regional Bank in 1982. Appointed as the Commercial, Corporate, Marketing and Communication Director of the Charente-Périgord Regional Bank in 1999, she joined the Aquitaine Regional Bank in 2002 as Financial, Strategic Marketing and Communications Director. Promoted in 2004 to Deputy General Manager, she became Deputy General Manager at the Normandie Regional Bank, before joining PREDICA in 2009 as Deputy General Manager. In 2010, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Normandie Regional Bank, a position which she left in January 2019 to take over as Chief Executive Officer of the Atlantique Vendée Regional Bank.
