Mr. Nakamura was appointed Independent Director of Nippon Paint Holdings in March 2018. His responsibilities expanded in 2020 when he assumed the position of Lead Independent Director, taking on the comprehensive role of ensuring communication within and across the Board of Directors and the committees, in addition to compiling the opinions of the Independent Directors and offering guidance to the management team.
