Mr. Mats Rahmstrom has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Atlas Copco AB since April 27, 2017. Mr. Rahmstrom served as Senior Executive Vice President and Business Area President for Industrial Technique at Atlas Copco AB from June 1, 2008 to April 26, 2017. Mr. Rahmstrom has been with Atlas Copco in 1988. He serves as President of the Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems General Industry division. Previously, he has held positions in sales, service, marketing and general management within the Industrial Technique business area. From 1998 to 2006, he served as the General Manager for customer centers in Sweden, Canada and Great Britain. He has been Director of Atlas Copco AB since April 26, 2017.

He served as a Director of Permobil AB (alternate name Permobil Aktiebolag). He serves as a Director of Wärtsilä Oyj Abp, the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries and of Piab AB. He is a Member of The Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences. Mr. Rahmström holds an MBA from the Henley Management College, Great Britain in 2005.
