Ms. Mary D. Petryszyn has been an Independent Director of Woodward, Inc. since June 1, 2023. She served as Corporate Vice President at Northrop Grumman Corporation Since 2020 and President of the Defense Systems Sector from 2020 to October 17, 2022. She served as Sector Vice President and GM, of Land and Avionics C4ISR – Mission Systems at Northrop Grumman Corporation From 2016 to 2019. She served as Sector Vice President of International at Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems from August 10, 2015, until 2016 and also served as its Vice President of Global Business Development Organization from August 10, 2015 until 2016. Ms. Petryszyn served as the Strategic Growth and Integration executive for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). She served as Vice President of the Civil Security and Response business area, focused on the market space associated with the Defense of Nations. She has worked in Engineering, Program Management, Business Development and Strategy, holding various assignments of increasing responsibility at Singer-Link, Hughes Aircraft Company and Raytheon. She has worked with business and government leaders in numerous international markets such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Arab Emirates. She serves on the Corporate Partnership Council for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She is a Fellow Life Member of SWE and the Girl Scouts of the USA and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). She received the prestigious SWE Upward Mobility Award in 2005 for her contribution to the engineering field. She has served on numerous community and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) related advisory boards. She received the 2000 Woman of Distinction Award from Mile Hi Girl Scout Council. Ms. Petryszyn graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. She received her Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University. She has completed Advanced Management Programs, including the Executive Business Leadership Program at the University of Chicago and Indiana University’s Executive Marketing Program.
