Mary Chris Jammet is an experienced corporate director and former senior investment management executive.
Ms. Jammet worked at Global Asset Management firm, Legg Mason Inc. (now Franklin Templeton), from 1989 until 2013. She served as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager from 1998 until her retirement in 2013. Ms. Jammet was responsible for overseeing large-cap US equities which grew to over $20 billion at their peak in assets under management.
In 2014, Ms. Jammet was elected to the Board of MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM), one of the world’s leading global hospitality and entertainment companies. She is an Audit Committee Financial Expert and serves on both the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committees for MGM.
In 2020, Ms. Jammet was elected to the Boards of Adams Diversified Equity Fund (NYSE: ADX) and Adams Natural Resources Fund (NYSE: PEO), two of the nation’s oldest closed-end funds. She serves on both the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Governance Committee.
Ms. Jammet received the CERT Certificate of Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute. She is an active member of both Women Corporate Directors and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
