Mr. Mark F. O’Neil serves as an Independent Director of CarMax, Inc. since October 7, 2019. He was Chief Operating Officer of Cox Automotive, Inc. since March 2016 until December 2018 and Executive Vice President since February 16, 2017 until December 2018. Mr. O’Neil was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cox Automotive’s Software, Media, Inventory and Financial Services Groups. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Dealertrack. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Dealertrack Technologies, Inc. (formerly, DealerTrack Holdings, Inc) since August 2001. He serves as Portfolio Advisor at NRV. He served as President of Dealertrack Technologies, Inc. from August 2001 to November 2014 which was acquired by Cox Automotive last fall and subsequently president of the Cox Automotive Software Group. From June 2000 to January 2001, Mr. O’Neil served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Greenlight.com. Mr. O’Neil began his career at Intel Corporation, where he first developed knowledge of the technology industry. He subsequently worked for McKinsey & Co. before moving to the automotive industry in the late 1980s. His experience in the automotive industry includes serving as the President of Ertley MotorWorld, a dealer group based in Pennsylvania. He co-founded and led the development and co-founded CarMax, Inc. He has been the Chairman of Chrome Data Solutions, LP since December 2011. He served as Chairman of Dealertrack Technologies, Inc. from May 2005 to October 1, 2015 and served as its Director from August 2001 to October 1, 2015. He has been a Director of Servco Pacific Inc. since August 2019. He serves as a Director of CenterStone Technologies, Inc. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
