Mr. Howze is the former Senior Advisor, Office of the Chairman, at Deere & Company, a global leader in the delivery of agricultural, turf, construction, and forestry equipment, a position he held from 2022 until his retirement in 2023. During his more than two-decade tenure at Deere, Mr. Howze held numerous leadership roles including Group President, Lifecycle Solutions and Chief Administrative Officer from 2020 to 2022 and Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer from 2016 to 2020. Mr. Howze also served as Vice President of Global Human Resources and Employee Communication, as well as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the company. Prior to joining Deere, Mr. Howze served as an officer in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of major.

Mr. Howze has been a member of the board of directors of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company since 2018, and joined the board of directors of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV) in November 2023.
