About

With a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the Bocconi University in Milan, he has been a chartered accountant since 1991 and a certified statutory auditor since 1995.

He is Associate Professor of Business Economics at the Bocconi University in Milan, responsible for the teaching of Accounting as part of the degree program in Economics and Finance, Company Valuations as part of the Master’s in Accounting, Auditing and Control, as well as International Accounting Principles as part of the Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Company Legislation.

He is the author of numerous publications on the topics of financial statements and business valuation. Main areas of activity: company valuations, opinions on financial statements and accounting principles, litigation, financial restructuring.

Since 2015 he has been a member of the working group on international accounting principles of the OIC (Italian accounting body).

He is a consultant for numerous companies, including listed companies, operating in the industrial, commercial, financial, insurance, and banking sectors and has held several Board and Statutory Auditor positions.

His experience in listed companies includes Assicurazioni Generali, Casa Damiani, Edison, Gas Plus, Telecom Italia and Terna.

His experience in non-listed companies includes Ariston Thermo, Banca Farmafactoring, Bracco, H3G, Leonardo & Co (advisory company to Banca Leonardo), Merloni Holding (Merloni family holdings) and Angel Capital Management (financial company of Angelo Moratti).

He was appointed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, with Ministerial Decree of 16-12-2016, Monitoring Trustee in operations affecting the divestments of non-performing loans by the banking system where a State guarantee is provided.

He has been at Studio Provasoli since 1990 and was later a founding partner of the Partners S.p.A consultancy.
