He served as the Head of Finance and Global Business Services at Deutsche Post AG. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Fresenius SE & Co KGaA (also known as Fresenius AG) since November 1, 2003. Mr. Rosen served as the Group Senior Vice President for Corporate Finance and Treasury at Aventis S.A., in Strasbourg, France.

He was responsible for all Corporate Finance activities as well as Risk and Cash Management at Fresenius, including Banking and Rating-agency relationships. From 1984 to 2000, he served different positions at the Aventis predecessor companies Hoechst AG and American Hoechst / Hoechst Celanese Inc. Mr. Rosen served as a Member of Supervisory Board at Deutsche Postbank AG since September 10, 2009 until August 28, 2015. He has been an Independent Member of Supervisory Board at Lanxess AG since May 13, 2015. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at LANXESS Deutschland GmbH since 2015.
