Larry D. Young was President and CEO of Dr Pepper Snapple Group prior to its merger with Keurig Green Mountain that formed Keurig Dr Pepper. He has been on KDP’s Board since the Company was created in 2018 and previously served on the Board of Dr Pepper Snapple Group beginning in 2007. Larry has over 40 years of experience in the beverage industry, providing him with deep knowledge and expertise in management, brand building, strategy, finance, sales and operations. At what was then Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages, he was a key architect in the integration of numerous independent bottlers that today provide KDP with a powerful nationwide direct-store-delivery network and led Dr Pepper Snapple as it spun off from Cadbury Schweppes and went public. His previous experience includes President and Chief Operating Officer of Pepsi-Cola General Bottlers, Inc. and Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at PepsiAmericas, Inc. From 2008 to 2010, he was Chairman of the Board of the American Beverage Association and served as a Director of the Boys and Girls Club of America for almost 15 years.
