Katja Bauer, born October 2, 1971, in Kassel, is a qualified office communications clerk and business economist (VWA), as well as an economist for human resources management.

Before her apprenticeship, Katja first completed a degree in German studies and then moved to EAM, a regional energy supplier in northern Hesse, which was part of the E.ON Group until 2013. After completing her training from 1997 to 2000, she initially worked as a department assistant in the service center and, after completing her business studies, took over the management of the “Reporting and Quality Management” team in receivables management. In the course of restructuring programs, she moved to the B2C Enablement department in 2019. She has been active in co-determination since 2009 and, as Chairwoman of the various committees, has also chaired the respective economic committees. She has also been Deputy Chairwoman of the general works council of E.ON Energie Deutschland GmbH since 2019.
