Ms Juliette Williams Pryor is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. from May 3, 2023, and served as its Chief Compliance Officer from May 2023 until March 2024. Since joining U.S. Food service in 2005, Ms. Pryor has held several executive positions, including Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer. She served as a Senior Vice President and Secretary of e.spire Communications, Inc. since 2000 and served as its General Counsel. Ms. Pryor joined e.spire in February 1997 as the first Associate General Counsel. During her first few years with e.spire, she created its first round of standard customer and vendor agreements and was Chief negotiator for its acquisition of small Internet service providers, as well as the agreements governing the divestiture of its resale customer base. She was promoted to the General Counsel post at e.spire in March 2000 and served as its Chief Legal Officer, responsible for determining corporate legal policy, ensuring all SEC compliance, managing all corporate governance issues, directing all litigation involving it and protecting its legal interests. Ms. Pryor served as Chief Ethics Officer at US Foods, Inc. since 2009. She was in private practice with the law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom. She served as a legal advisor/Counsel to the Vice Chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission and was an Attorney/ in-house counsel with IBM Corporation. Ms. Pryor served as Director of US Foods, Inc. since March 2009. She served as a Director of US Foods Holding Corp. from March 2009 to September 30, 2016 and US Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies, LLC. She served as a Trustee of La Rabida Children’s Hospital and Research Center. She is a Member of The Chicago Network. A fluent Portuguese speaker, she is a founding Board Member of Levantamos: The Center for Afro-Brazilian-American Cooperation. She is a Member of the law advisory Board of Georgetown University Law Center. She was a Board Member of the Greater Chicago Area American Red Cross. She served on Governor Patrick J. Quinn’s Women’s Advisory Council. She is admitted to Practice Law in the District of Columbia and New York. Ms. Pryor holds law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. She received a J.D. from Georgetown University. She graduated with honours from Fisk University in Nashville, TN, where she received a BA degree in Political Science and Spanish.
