Julie Parsons is executive vice president and chief operating officer, Property-Liability. She leads the day-to-day operation of the Property-Liability business, including auto, home and other personal lines protection, as well as Allstate Business Insurance, Ivantage and Answer Financial. Parsons started her career at Allstate in 1993 in the Pricing department. She was named chief operating officer, Property-Liability, in 2019 after serving in various leadership roles, including chief actuary and executive vice president of Product Operations. Parsons earned her bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Purdue University. She is a member of the national board of directors for The Posse Foundation, a nonprofit that develops the leaders of tomorrow by providing full-tuition college scholarships. Parsons is also chair of the Posse Chicago Advisory Board.
