Joy Chik has served as a director of PayPal since March 2025. Since September 2022, Ms. Chik has served as the President of Identity and Network Access at Microsoft. She leads Microsoft’s multi-billion-dollar security business, Microsoft Entra, which enables customers to stay safe in a hybrid, multi-cloud, multi-device world.  Ms. Chik also leads the Microsoft Secure Future Initiative engineering work, which is shaping the company’s security strategy and mindset at a global scale. In her more than 26-year career with Microsoft, Ms. Chik has held numerous senior leadership positions, including Corporate Vice President for the Identity Division in Microsoft’s Cloud and AI group, Corporate Vice President of Engineering for Enterprise Mobility and Security, and Distinguished Engineer and Partner Engineering Director of the Enterprise Client and Mobility division. From 2018 until 2020, Ms. Chik was a board member of Sierra Wireless. She has served on the Board of Trustees for AnitaB.org since 2016. Ms. Chik received her B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
