Before joining Emory in July 2023, Dr. Lee had a distinguished 27-year career at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), where he excelled as an interventional cardiologist, clinical researcher, academic leader, and physician executive. Dr. Lee’s expertise in the healthcare industry is rooted in his pioneering work in cardiology, particularly in stem cell therapy for heart disease and advanced catheterbased treatments like Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement.
