Jonathan F. Foster is the founder and a managing director of Current Capital Partners LLC. Jon has over 30 years of experience with high-quality financial services firms as an advisor (mergers & acquisitions and restructuring advisory as well as capital raising) and as an investor (private equity) focused largely on industrial and services companies. He has also been on the boards of 42 companies.
In addition, as an expert witness in major corporate litigation, Jon has filed numerous reports, as well as been deposed many times and testified in court, about mergers and acquisitions, valuation and governance issues. He works with law firms and economic consulting firms on behalf of companies, investment firms and individuals.
Jon has been on the boards of private companies, companies involved in restructurings and Fortune 500 companies; he has been chairman, lead director and chair of all major committees; he now chairs two Fortune 500 audit committees. He was named to the National Association of Corporate Directors 2015 Directorship 100 List.
Jon has written, spoken and been quoted frequently about mergers and acquisitions, finance and governance issues and has guest lectured at various universities.
