Ms. Rowe retired from her position as Vice Chair, Investments, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan on July 31, 2023 which she had held since 2020. From 2019 to 2020, she was Executive Managing Director, Equities, Ontario Teachers, an independent organization responsible for administering and managing the assets of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Prior to that, she was Senior Managing Director, Ontario Teachers’ Private Capital from 2010 to 2019. Ms. Rowe held several executive positions at Scotiabank from 1987 to 2010, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Scotia Mortgage Corporation and Roynat Capital Inc. Ms. Rowe holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from York University, Schulich School of Business, ON and a BCom (hon) (Bachelor of Commerce) from Memorial University. Ms. Rowe is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
