He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Télémédia Corporation Inc. From February 1, 2000 to May 2, 2003, he served as an Executive Chairman of the Board at Télémédia Corp. Inc. From 2000 to 2005, he served as an Executive Chairman of Canadian media firm Telemedia Corporation and also sits on the Board of Directors for several companies, including printing and media giant Transcontinental and the SFK Pulp Fund. He serves as a Director at G.T.C. Transcontinental Group Ltd. and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. He served as a Director of ITS Investments Limited Partnership since 1998. Over the years, he also sat on the boards of Directors of companies like Adventure Electronics, Circo Craft, Donohue, ITS Limited Partnership, Michelin Canada and Secor Inc. and of non-profit organizations like l’Accueil Bonneau, the Fonds de développement du Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, the Montreal General Hospital Foundation and the Martlet Foundation of McGill University. In addition, he serves as a Director of the Fonds de developpement of College Jean-de-Brebeuf. He teaches at the Law Faculty of the University of Montréal, holding the position of guest professor. He also taught the business law module at the Quebec Bar School for many years and serves as a Member of the Quebec Bar since 1977. Finally, he was among the first in Canada to complete the ICD Corporate Governance College program and holds the certified designation of ICD.D. He served as a Basketball Coach at McGill University. A basketball Color Commentator for Radio-Canada TV and radio during the 1984, 1988 and 1996 Olympic Games, he has served as a regular contributor reporting on amateur sports for the Radio-Canada radio show Hebdo-Sports. Just before he started at CBC/Radio-Canada, he was included in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers of Canada. Mr. Lacroix received Master of Business Administration from McGill University in 1981. Mr. Lacroix received a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) in Civil Law from McGill University in 1976 and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1977.
