Howard Ungerleider is President and Chief Financial Officer for Dow, a global materials science company with 2021 sales of approximately $55 billion. In this role, he serves as a member of Dow’s most senior executive committee that sets the strategic direction, defines priorities, establishes corporate policy, and manages governance and enterprise-level decisions for the company. He has executive oversight for Dow Finance, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Purchasing, and Integrated Supply Chain.
He is chairman of the Dow Company Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors for Kyndryl, FCLTGlobal, the Michigan Israel Business Bridge, Mid-Michigan Baseball Foundation, Keep America Beautiful, and the Board of Trustees of The Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation. Howard is chair of the Business Leaders for Michigan business roundtable and a member of the Michigan Climate Executive Advisory Group and the Michigan ESG Leadership Council.
Ungerleider holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in Austin and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of California in Los Angeles.
