Graduated in Economics at Luiss Guido Carli University, he served in the Italian Army as an official within the administrative body, in Bartolini as Unit Operation Manager and worked in Unione Italiana di Riassicurazione and SwissRE Italia in the CEO’s staff. He has been a contract professor of Economics and management of insurance companies at Luiss Guido Carli University.
He is the General Manager of Luiss Guido Carli University. Independent director of Banca Mediolanum S.p.A. since 2021, he holds the office of Risks Committee and Remuneration Committee member.
Member of the Board of Directors and General Manager ad interim of Luiss Business School S.p.A, Director of Fondazione Mediterraneo and Fondazione Pax Humana. He is a member of the management Committee of Fondazione Italia Sociale and Gruppo Tecnico Cultura of Confindustria and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Permanent Observatory on Educational Policies of Eurispes. He is a co-founder of the startup accelerator LuissEnlabs and promoter of the first Italian chapter of Network 42, an international network of coding.

He has also served as a member of various boards of directors, including doValue SpA (formerly doBank SpA), holding the position of Chairman of the Risk Committee, Chairman of the Nomination Committee and member of the Remuneration Committee. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the journal Internazionale and the journal Formiche.
He edited the book “Etica Digitale” published by Luiss University Press in 2021 and for Rubbettino the Italian editions of the books “Jugaad Innovation” in 2014 and “Frugal Innovation” in 2016. In 2017 his book “EroStudente” was published. Author of numerous articles for the national daily press and periodicals.
