Appointed as a non-executive director of the Company in February 2016, Dame Elizabeth Corley brings investor, governance and boardroom experience to the Board. Elizabeth is Chair designate of Schroders plc and she currently chairs the board of the Impact Investment Institute, having previously chaired the industry Taskforce on Social Impact Investing for the UK government. Dame Elizabeth served as Chief Executive of Allianz Global Investors, initially for Europe and then globally, from 2005 to 2016. Prior to that, she worked for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. She is active in representing the investment industry and developing standards within it. She is a non-executive director of Morgan Stanley. Dame Elizabeth is also a member of the CFA Future of Finance Advisory Council, the AQR Institute of Asset Management at the London Business School, the Committee of the 200 and the 300 Club and is a former member of the board of the UK Financial Reporting Council. Dame Elizabeth is also an acclaimed writer, a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a trustee of the British Museum.
