Denis joined the Desjardins team in 2003 within the Property and Casualty Insurance Executive Division, where he rose to the role of Executive Vice-President in 2016. Subsequently, he held several other strategic positions, including President and CEO of Desjardins Financial Security, and Executive Vice-President of Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance. Throughout that time, he played a key role sustainably growing the sectors, while also developing the member/client experience and modernizing IT systems.Over the course of his career, Denis has been an integral part of major milestones for Desjardins, including the acquisition of State Farm’s Canadian property and casualty insurance and life insurance operations, and of the distribution activities of IDC and Worldsource. The deals strengthened Desjardins’s presence across Canada and have solidified the organization’s position as a national leader in the financial sector.Denis has a long track record in the Canadian financial sector and has served on several boards, including for the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association and the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Aviso Wealth.
