He served as the Chief Diversity Officer at Nielsen (December 2018 – March 2021). He also held positions as Senior Vice President at IBM Watson (January 2016 – 2018) and IBM Cloud (November 2016 – 2018), which are divisions of IBM. Before that, he was the Chairman and CEO of The Weather Company, a major provider of weather forecasts and information (2012 – 2015). Additionally, he was the President of Akamai, a prominent cloud platform technology company (2011 – 2012). In earlier stages of his career, he worked as the Managing Partner of VivaKi (2006 – 2010), a company offering integrated solutions for internet-based e-commerce. He also founded and served as the CEO of Digitas, Inc. (1997 – 2006), which later merged with VivaKi.
