Mr. Daniel G. Korte, also known as Dan, has been an Independent Director of Woodward, Inc. since February 15, 2017. He served as Senior Vice President of Aerospace Coatings at PPG Industries Inc. since 2023 and was its Global Vice President of Aerospace Products since August 1, 2018. He joined PPG Industries, Inc. in May 2018. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of LMI Aerospace, Inc. from March 18, 2014, until October 4, 2017, and served as its Chief Operating Officer since July 26, 2016. He served as the President of Defense – Aerospace at Rolls-Royce Holdings plc (formerly Rolls Royce Defense Group) from August 2, 2009, to September 2012 and was responsible for leadership of the global defence aerospace business, which employs numerous people and operates in many countries around the world. He served as the Vice President and General Manager of Global Strike Systems at The Boeing Company since February 2008. He served as Vice President and General Manager of Global Strike Systems- Precision Engagement & Mobility Systems of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems, Inc. since February 2008. He moved from Security Solutions, where served as Vice President and Program Manager and led SBInet. Since joining Boeing in 1985, he has held several senior positions including V-22 Program Manager, Vice President of Supplier Management & Procurement and Vice President/Program Manager SBInet. He has a long span of past work in design and systems engineering, integrated product team leadership, as well as supplier, procurement and program management. He served as a Director of LMI Aerospace Inc. from August 5, 2014, until June 27, 2017. He was honoured with the SIU Distinguished Alumni Award. He completed the Strategic Thinking and Management for Competitive Advantage Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from Lindenwood University, Missouri.
