About
Craig brings extensive executive and board-level experience across healthcare, financial services and other regulated industries. He joined the Ramsay Board in July 2025.
He is also Chair of Transurban Group, Chair of the Australian Foundation Investment Company Limited and Chair of The Ian Potter Foundation – one of Australia’s leading philanthropic organisations.
Craig has previously served as President and Director of the Geelong Football Club Ltd (2011-2024), a Director of the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health (2009-2017), and a Member of the Federal Government’s Financial Regulator Assessment Authority (2021-2023).
His executive career includes five years as Chief Executive Officer of Medibank Private Ltd. He was formerly Group Executive Finance and Strategy at National Australia Bank, and Chief Executive Officer and Country Head at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Australia). Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Goldman Sachs JBWere.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and has completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Senior Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Fellow Chartered Accountant.
