Clay Gaspar, 52, is the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Devon Energy, a role he assumed in January 2021 following the company’s merger with WPX Energy. In this capacity, he oversees Devon’s geosciences, reservoir management, production, drilling, completions, facilities, field operations, environmental, health and safety, and ESG initiatives. Previously, Clay served as president and chief operating officer of WPX Energy, where he also sat on the board of directors.
