About
Carolyn Tastad has served as a member of Kellogg Company’s Board of Directors since December 2015. Ms. Tastad serves on the Manufacturing Committee, the Compensation & Talent anagement Committee and the Nominating & Governance Committee.
Ms. Tastad most recently served as Chief Executive Officer, Health Care at Procter & Gamble. In this role, she led the global Health Care business, responsible for sales, profit, selling, innovation, brand-building and supply across P&G’s Oral Care and Personal Health Care businesses, which make up 13% of P&G’s net sales. Previously, she led P&G’s North America business and operations, the company’s largest and most profitable region.
Ms. Tastad began her career in information technology and subsequently moved to sales and general management roles. She has significant acquisition integration experience and has delivered several business model transformations. She has led large multi-category regional businesses and smaller entrepreneurial global businesses. She has held responsibilities at both global and regional levels, living in the U.S., Canada and Switzerland.
Ms. Tastad served on the board and executive committee of the Consumer Brands Association and as board chair for the non-profit Cincinnati City Center Development Corporation.
Carolyn is passionate about gender and intersectional equality in the workplace and the world. She served as executive sponsor for P&G’s Gender Equality citizenship efforts, leading efforts to tackle bias and build a world with equal voice, equal opportunity and equal representation for all individuals.
Ms. Tastad received a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.
