Axel Winterwerber, born on May 28, 1982 in Bad Ems, is a trained energy electronics technician for industrial engineering, a state-certified technician for electrical engineering and studied business administration.

After his apprenticeship, Axel worked as a fitter in the field of low and medium voltage network assembly before moving to the field of network operation in the SĂĽwag Group.

He is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SĂĽwag Energie AG and a member of the Supervisory Board of Syna GmbH and E.ON Pensionsfonds AG.
