Anton Botha is a co-founder, director and co-owner of Imalivest, a private investment group that manages proprietary capital provided by its owners and the Imalivest Flexible Funds.
He is also a non-executive director of the University of Pretoria, Sanlam Limited and certain Sanlam subsidiaries.
Mr Botha is a Non-Executive Director of Sanlam with a wealth of experience across a spectrum of disciplines, including finance, risk, compliance, financial markets, investments, general business, human resources, marketing, and international business.
Mr Botha serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of African Rainbow Minerals. He is also a Board member of Bostco (Pty) Ltd. He is a Non-Executive Director and Co-Founder of Imalivest, a private investment group and manager of the Imalivest unit trusts. He served in leadership roles at Gencor, Genbel and Gensec bank, where he led and developed the business into a leading investment banking group. The Group was delisted and acquired by Sanlam in 2000.
Mr Botha holds a BProc degree from UNISA, a BCom in Marketing from the University of Pretoria and a BCom Hons degree in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg. He also completed an Executive Development Programme at Stanford University.
