Andrea Redmond is an Independent Consultant working with Boards, Chief Executive Officers and Private Investors on executive recruiting needs and succession and talent management activities. Ms. Redmond is also co-author of the books: Comebacks: Powerful Lessons from Leaders Who Endured Setbacks and Recaptured Success on Their Terms, which won a Gold Medal, Success and Motivation, in the 2011 Axiom Business Book Awards and Rwanda, Inc.: How a Devastated Nation Became an Economic Model for the Developing World.
From 1986 to 2007, Ms. Redmond was a Partner with Russell Reynolds Associates, a highly regarded global executive search firm. During the last several years with the firm, Ms. Redmond was Co-Head of the CEO/Board Services practice. She conducted numerous assignments to recruit Chief Executive Officers, including assignments for Hewlett-Packard, Visa USA, Bank One, United Airlines, Sprint, SAFECO, Providian Financial, AXA Financial, Polaroid Corporation, Cardinal Health and Hewitt Associates. She worked across industries including financial services, technology, transportation, consumer products and healthcare. Ms. Redmond also served clients in the recruitment of Directors for Corporate Boards and conducted numerous assignments for a variety of public companies including Walgreens, Hewlett-Packard, Visteon, Prudential and USG Corporation.
